The 23-year old Cozens hit four home runs, including three in one game against Syracuse on May 2nd. The three home runs in one game are a franchise record for Lehigh Valley. The lefty hitter posted a 1.245 OPS with a .370 average, six RBI and five runs scored in seven games between April 30 and May 6.
Hernandez, 21, made two relief appearances covering 4 1/3 innings of work, recording nine strikeouts among the 13 outs that he recorded. He allowed just three hits and didn’t walk a batter. On the season, he has a 4.02 ERA with 24 strikeouts over 15 2/3 innings of work for Clearwater this season.
Both players were drafted by the Phillies, with Cozens being taken in the second round of the 2012 Draft and Hernandez selected in the 21st round of the 2017 Draft.
