If you’re going to a minor league game soon, pick up an old fashioned scorecard. The type with all of the players and their numbers. There have been a number of changes throughout the Phillies organization since August 1st and it’s getting tougher to know who is where.

Here’s the latest:

Trade deadline day got the ball rolling on Tuesday. The Phillies didn’t have to add new acquisition Wilson Ramos to the 25-man roster because he’s on the DL. That decision will come in a couple of weeks and will likely result in Andrew Knapp being optioned to Lehigh Valley. In a smaller trade they acquired left-handed reliever Aaron Loup from Toronto for IronPigs pitcher Jacob Waguespack.

Reliever Edubray Ramos was sent to Reading on a rehab assignment and pitched 2/3 of an inning for the Fightins. The next day he was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Also on Tuesday, the Phillies designated infielder Trevor Plouffe for assignment and recalled outfielder Dylan Cozens who had been hammering the ball at Lehigh Valley. IronPigs reliever Zac Curtis was designated for assignment on Tuesday to clear a spot on the 40-man roster. Lehigh Valley lost a big bat in Cozens but fellow outfielder Danny Ortiz was activated from the disabled list.

Wednesday and Thursday were pretty quiet. The Phillies officially activated Loup on Thursday and activated Adam Morgan from the paternity list. To make room, Jake Thompson and Yacksel Rios were optioned back to Lehigh Valley.

Friday is when everything got crazy. Ramos, Rios and Thompson were officially added to the IronPigs roster. In addition to that, pitchers Ranfi Casimiro and Alexis Rivero were sent from Lehigh Valley to Double-A Reading. Outfielder Jiandido Tromp went from Reading to Lehigh Valley when IronPigs outfielder Adron Chambers was released. Reliever Tom Windle was placed on the temporary inactive list for personal reasons.

Also on Thursday, pitcher Aaron Brown was sent from Clearwater to Lakewood with David Parkinson going the other way to take Brown’s roster spot with the Threshers.

The Reading Fightins received outfielder Jose Pujols from Clearwater on a well-deserved promotion. To take Pujols roster spot with the Threshers, second baseman Daniel Brito went from Lakewood to Clearwater. Also on Friday, pitcher Madison Stokes joined Lakewood from Williamsport.

One last transaction; catcher Nick Rickles was hit on the forearm by a bat Thursday in Buffalo and went on the DL with a left forearm contusion. Catcher/first baseman Matt McBride was activated from the DL.
